WHEN THE STREET IS THEIR NEXT STOP
NEZER YEHOSHUA BECOMES THEIR HOME.
When the mainstream Yeshivos aren’t the right fit for a teenage boy, it’s easy for him to quickly become depressed and feel like a failure.
Founded by Rabbi David Godlewsky, son of Keren Hayeled’s original founders, Rabbi and Rebbetzin Yehoshua Leib Godlewsky, Yeshivas Nezer Yehoshua caters to boys from mainstream, functional homes. Boys who feel like failures. Who have been sitting at home for months, with nothing to do, and no motivation to try. They come from regular Yeshivos, where for a broad range of reasons, they didn’t succeed, didn’t find their place, and ended up staying home.
The next step for these boys? The street.
That’s where we come in.
FINDING SUCCESS
WHERE EVERYONE ELSE SEES FAILURE.
As of today, over 200 boys have graduated Yeshiva Nezer Yehoshua and successfully gone on to build their own solid, torah-based homes.
Yeshiva Nezer Yehoshua builds our boys up, starting with a healthy self identity – not easy when a teen doesn’t fit in and can’t seem to live up to expectations he has of himself!
We put a strong focus on taking responsibility, recognizing capabilities, and properly valuing achievements. These skills continue on with the boys for life, providing them with solid ground to stand on for life!
Our boys lean in on Tefilla, learning, middos, and supporting each other. The yeshiva is fondly dubbed by the Mashgiach a “bayit chevrati chazak” – a place of strong social acceptance.
