HachnAsas Sefer Torah

thank you to our supporters for making it happen!
Our Yeshiva’s Hachnasas Sefer Torah took place on Thursday, September 18th, the 25th of Elul, right before Rosh Hashana. The event defied all imagination!
In the words of a staff member, “It was out of this world. The boys were dancing for six hours nonstop!”
Thank you to all our supporters who generously enabled us to make a gorgeous event!
One of the photographers expressed, “I have never seen such simcha at such an event.”
The Hachnasas Sefer Torah has given our boys tremendous encouragement that will renew each time they use the new Sefer Torah.
We have begun the New Year by refreshing our Beis Medrash and our Torah learning with the new Sefer Torah.
We will now turn our focus towards building our new building to ensure that the physical amenities are on par with the spiritual growth we pray for.
To convey the urgency of this project, during the 12-day-war, our building was severely damaged, and so the long awaited building project has been rushed into priority and has already begun!
Please continue to partner with us!
Kesivas Osios-The final letters
We merited to visit the great Torah leaders of today’s Jewry, Rabbi Dov Landau shlit”a and Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch shlit”a who wrote in the final letters of our Sefer Torah and gave a special bracha to Yeshivas Nezer Yehoshua.
Not only was it a special zechus to be in the presence of such great leaders, but it was tremendously impactful to view their simple yet beautiful homes, their love for all Jews, and their sincerity with which they preformed the mitzvah of writing a Sefer Torah.
To see the elderly Rabbi Dov Landau stand in respect for the Torah as it entered the room and as it was taken away depicted the reverence we should all have for the holy Torah.
Watch the event below.
